Laptop cheap Asus N75SL 17.3 inch Laptop (Intel Core i5 2450M 2.5GHz, 6GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Blu-Ray combo, LAN, WLAN, BT, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit)

Unfortunately my purchase of the Asus N75SL was a pretty disappointing experience! For a very eye catching and appealing looking laptop it certainly has it's flaws, which Asus definately need to rectify.
Initially I had my doubts about buying this model simply due to the 'cheese grater' style speaker which runs across the top of the keypad. Although powered by Bang & Olufsen, it is a bit overpowering although I did get used to it.
Upon unpackaging the laptop I found, rather unbelievably, that the keypad itself was not even/level. The numbered Function buttons across the top of the keypad dipped slightly from around F4 through to F10 causing the whole keyboard shape to appear wavy! I was pretty gobsmacked as surely this is a fundamental basic of any keyboard to at least be 'set' properly? Upon closer inspection and in my own personal opinion it seems as though the keys on the Asus N75SL are manufactured in small blocks of say 3/4 keys and then added together to build up the keyboard. I could be wrong of course but sadly it looked pretty bad for such a well spec'd laptop such as this!
Inevitably I sent my first purchase of this back and was willing to try a replacement to see if it could be a one off!
The second one arrived and thankfully the keyboard appeared to be set much better than the first, however there still appeared to be some alignment issues with a couple of the keys.
